If you've ever been a client at Olycurl, you've probably noticed we work a little differently. We work as a team and that means that you receive better service. We enjoy our work and help one another stay on schedule, reducing our own worries, and delivering a better service experience for you. We know you are here to relax and enjoy!

Your experience here at OlyCurl will have you waited on and served by one, two or even three people! We are focused on one thing and that is to make you feel (and look) like a celebrity. We want to make your day. Behold! You are about to learn our secret to happiness!
Are you ready? Here it is: We don't pay commission. Not on service sales and not on product sales. Have you ever walked into a business and were immediately accosted by a salesperson before you even have a chance to breathe? They were hungry; you could feel the pressure... and you didn't like it. We don't either. So we have proposed to be different and offer a unique and enjoyable experience. How can this be? We compensate all of our staff by salary. What this means is that no matter what the schedule holds or what's happening in the salon, our stylists and support staff are getting paid.
By compensating our staff with a "Team-Based" system, it allows more flexibility for our clients and enables us to function more efficiently to the comfort and convenience of our guests. Can't get in with your favorite stylist or you just want to try someone else? Go for it! We don't mind. We actually encourage it! The entire focus of our team is to ensure every client's needs are met with excellence. We want our clients to revel in their experience. This counts for products too. When we make a product recommendation, it is because we sincerely believe it is the best product for your curl type and texture and not because we are trying to make a commission on that sale. Our one-of-a-kind OlyCurl Prescription is given to you so that you can see what we used, how much we used, and how we used it. No hidden agenda here. The same goes for services!

YukikoOwner of OlyCurl Inc., Yukiko has brought curly awareness to our community by introducing her methods to Thurston County and beyond. Her curl education includes being a Deva-Inspired Stylist, and she has been a certified member of Curly Hair Artistry since 2013. Her passion for both curls and business is how OlyCurl Inc. was born.

JuliaA curly-hair artist and curly girl herself, Julia finds her passion lies with changing lives by helping curly girls to embrace their curls. Julia is a Deva-Inspired Stylist and has attended a Curly Hair Artistry Symposium and received her certification in May 2016. She also loves to play with color!

BeckiA life-long wavy gal, Becki is our part-time receptionist. When she is not tending to your phone calls and emails, she is working our social media and customer care in the salon. She is a teacher at a local private Christian school and loves guiding first graders into a lifelong love of learning.

LacieLacie initially did her externship with us in February of 2018. In November, she came on staff at OlyCurl and has undergone our extensive training program. She passed with flying colors! While she does not have curly hair herself, she is curly in spirit, as one of her daughters and her husband have curly hair! She shares this passion with us and makes our clients feel welcome and understood.

Katie
Katie is a curly-girl and the newest stylist on the OlyCurl team. She has worked in traditional salons for a few years and is currently undergoing OlyCurl's specialized training program. She is excited to help other curly guys and girls learn about and love their curls! When she's not helping our clients bring out the best features of their beautiful curls, she enjoys painting and learning new trivia.
