8/26/2014 0 Comments Sweat & CurlsWhat if I told you that you could go 5 days between washing? ![]() It's true! Even if you work out 3 days a week. That is the most frequent reason clients give for washing their hair daily or every other day. We don't mind if you wash that often (as long as you are using gentle shampoos and surfactants), but don't you want to save yourself all that work? We teach the LAZY curly girl method and we want you to have more time for breakfast in the morning! Here's the deal. First, head sweat does not smell the same way body odor smells. The sweat glands in our scalp are much different and our scalps do not have the same bacteria present as our armpits. Secondly, our sweat contains salt, and we all know that salt gives our curls more volume and body. That's a win/win! We all want more volume! So go ahead and lift those weights, hike those hills, and sprint on that treadmill (it's too cold out there anyway, amiright?!). Sweat away and watch your curls expand and give you the voluminous amazing curls that you enjoy! It is all about the original set being on point and being able to refresh your curls each day.
